    Frequently Asked Questions

The section below list the answers to many of the frequently asked questions that we get regarding delivery and our service in general. Please contact us though if there's anything else that you'd like to know.

How do I place an order?

You can place your order via our online shop using the links to the left of this page. However, if you'd prefer, you can telephone your order through to us by calling 01709 322674, 07856288794 or e-mail us.

You can have your order delivered weekly, fortnightly, 3 weekly or monthly or have a one week trial, just to see if you like the idea.

Once you've placed your order, you'll receive a confirmation email advising you to the day that your shopping will be delivered. If you wish to know in advance what day of the week we deliver to your area, then please give us a call or email us to find out before placing your order.

Orders must be placed by 10.30am before the due delivery date to guarantee processing. We're also happy to change or cancel orders up to 24 hours before delivery.

What areas do you deliver to?

We deliver to all areas that have a Sheffield postcode or are in the Doncaster area. If you live outside of this area and still wish to place an order, then please contact us to discuss delivery - we don't like to disappoint!

Do I have to be at home to receive my delivery?

You don't necessarily have to be at home to receive your delivery. When you place your order, you will get the opportunity to provide instructions as to where we can leave your delivery if you're not likely to be in. This could be somewhere on your property or with a close neighbour. It's useful to pick somewhere that's relatively out of site and preferably under-cover. A porch, out-house or under garden furniture is ideal.

    How much does delivery cost?

Delivery on all orders to addresses with a Sheffield postcode or in the Doncaster area is £1.50.

    How do I make payment?

We accept the following methods of payment: Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Solo and Switch. Payments can be made securely on this site.

Please do not email your payment details to us, as email is not a secure method of communication.

If you have a regular delivery we can arrange for you to make payment following a monthly invoice.

The contents of my veg box are different to those advertised!

We try to keep the product availability information on the website as up to date as possible, but sometimes we do run out of items or the quality might not be up to scratch for us to send out. We will contact you if that's the case and offer you a refund or replacement.

Where the organic fruit and veg boxes are concerned, we occasionally have to make changes to the advertised contents at the last minute. A replacement of equivalent or greater value will therefore be made.

I want to have a regular veg box delivery but what happens if I go on holiday?

Just give us a call or drop us an email a minimum of 24 hours in advance if you're going away and want to skip a delivery.

I'm unhappy with an item that I've bought...

We hope that everything that you order arrives in good condition and we endeavour to make sure that all produce that leaves our depot is of the highest standard. Please let us know if any item that you have received is damaged or unacceptable and we'll happily replace it for you or give you a refund.

We're trying to improve the image of organic fruit and vegetables, so we do guarantee all contents of the fruit and veg boxes. Please get in touch if you're unhappy with any of the times that you receive in your box so that we can make amends. We'll either offer you a replacement or a reduction on the price of your box.

Please don't feel like you're complaining - it's constructive feedback!

I'm interested in buying a veg box but I hate sprouts!

We have a number of customers who have allergies or simply can't stand a particular kind or fruit or vegetable. We're happy to make a note of this and will endeavour to ensure that you never get that type of fruit or veg in your boxes!

Where does your organic fruit and veg come from?

We source our organic fruit and veg from a number of specialist wholesalers, who in turn, source from a number of UK organic producers and European-based importers. All of our suppliers are vetted by us and adhere to strict guidelines set down by the various organic certification boards. See the 'our suppliers' page for more information.

What do I do with my cardboard boxes?

Please leave used boxes for our delivery drivers to collect. They can be re-used if they're in good condition. If they've become a bit tatty, we recycle them so they can get turned into brand new boxes!
